(1) It connects solely to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, so use a 2.4GHz network.
(2) Double-check the Wi-Fi name and password you entered.
(3) Keep the doorbell within 10 meters (33 feet) of the router.
2. Can the camera be used with a 5GHz network?
No, it’s limited to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. For smooth connection, set up separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks with individual names.
3. How long will the doorbell camera run before needing a recharge?
You’ll find the battery in the doorbell camera typically works for four to six weeks on a single charge, but this may vary with the amount of use. High recording frequency and constant Live View can exhaust the battery sooner, requiring more frequent charging.
4. Does the doorbell camera have the capability to upload videos to cloud storage?
Subscription to a cloud service is required to store videos, and a free trial is available. There will be no fees during the trial, which will roll into a paid subscription if you’re happy, or you can cancel during the trial for free if not.
