Probably Not worth it unless you’re using Home Assistant and Pico Remotes
This works great, and I’m happy with Lutron products as a whole. I had bought the non pro version of their bridge with a wall switch and it worked great for everything. The one issue I had was in Home Assistant and it’s probably not what you think. Home Assistant has stepped up its game and now is *very* easy to implement the non pro version, which works great. The only problem is you can’t use the Pico remotes outside of the Lutron ecosystem without the Pro version. They don’t show and aren’t usable to trigger other things in Home Assistant. It’s a lot of money to just get access to a bunch of tiny remotes. As far as I can tell the differences in the pro and non pro versions are solely software/support related. I gotta say though, being able to program every button for other is kind of cool though. I have one set up at my desk for lights and with the favorite button to toggle on and off my work monitors which are on a different brand smart plug. Every button has triggers for “Pressed” and “Released” and with some creative programming in home assistant out there you can do multiple button presses. It does open up quite a few possibilities. I’m glad i bought it, but had I known before I wouldn’t have gotten the bundled non-pro version. I would’ve just gotten this from the get go.

Great bridge – works with Josh.ai and Control4
I have a Control4 home automation system and wanted to control my lutron Serena shades. I also have a Josh.ai home voice control system. The lutron product line is a mess, and itâs hard to tell which shades work with which bridge and control systems. Lutron, seriously. Get your act together. This pro bridge worked great with my Control4 and Josh.ai systems. My integrator added it to Control4. However I was impressed that Josh found and configured the lutron bridge automatically. The lutron app is just ok/meh, but most of the time the shades are on an automatic schedule or I use Control4/josh to control them.Overall Iâm very pleased with this item.

Simple to install, plug in the power, plug in the provided network cable
PROS:Fairly easy to installInterface is simpleCONS:Interface is simple (Yes I repeated that in the PROS) What I mean is that even though is seems that you can do IFTTT, there is no version of the Pro App that I found which seems to allow for that to be done. What I ended up doing was integrating this through the partnership that exists between Lutron and Samsung to use the SmartThings app and hub which I already had. Lutron did not really make it easy for me, and perhaps I just missed something, to pair the two up, but I had to do the pairing though SmartThings and then the Lutron devices showed up in the Smart Things app.The Lutron Pro hub is quite pricey in my opinion and frankly anyone getting into doing a smart home for the first time should research the products out there and the price points to make a smart decision about what manufacturer they want to go with because it seems that there are many out there and everyone seems to have their own smart hubs but not everyone plays well with each other.

Pro version
This is the pro version you want for Home Assistant. It has telnet for additional home automation control. I couldn’t find it locally at the usual getting places.Works great.

Amazing product, fast and stable – use with a Hubitat Elevation for even more performance !
Using this with a Hubitat Elevation Hub after migrating from a Caseta Bridge (non-Pro) and SmartThings. First off, this pairing (Caseta Pro and Hubitat) is blazingly fast and because it is all local processing, much more stable than cloud based solutions like SmartThings. The set up and migration was a breeze. The only downside to this product is the 50 device limit (including the Hub and Pico remotes). I will probably end up getting another just for all the pico remotes I use for smart home controls, scenes, mode changes, etc.

Works great
This seems to talk to all my blinds just fine. I removed one star as this is just another device that has to have LED’s lighting it up for no reason at all. I do not need all the rooms in my house lit up at night with too bright LED’s.

This is the bridge that you want to get if you want to get Telnet access into your lighting system to control it yourself. A little more research and experimenting and you should be able to figure out at least the output commands. Unfortunately it’s about twice the cost of the consumer bridge which doesn’t have Telnet access. You’ll need the APP on your phone to turn this ability on through settings and probably a way to secure it since it uses a default login and password.

The Lutron Caseta is the only 2 wire dimmer that I am aware of. With this Pro hub, I can use an app on the phone or tablet to control the the lights. Also works with the open source project Home Assistant. The Pro hub also works with their line of blinds as well.

Works well, if you are using an Iphone and want to use google home you need to configure it through and android phone first or use bluestacks on your pc …

Very Very fast when integrated with Hubitat Elevation. I moved away from Smartthings hub to Hubitat Elevation to get me the speed of local control.
