    Purchase this for smart home set up to save on wifi bandwidth usage and it works perfectly! Set up was easy. App access or setup with Alexa works perfectly. Best value compared to box stores. The lightbulbs adjust perfectly! Have had no issues since connected!

    It’s not just the light bulbs that are good, it’s the software. Even though other competitors have light bulbs that are on-par or better to the Philips Hue, their software doesn’t stand a chance against Philip’s software. The hue app is so seamless and easy to use, and everything is set up in just mere minutes! Everything I wanted the hue bulbs to do, the app does it with no problem.

    Love these lights. I wanted lighting that was warm like Christmas lights, but wanted something more mature. I also don’t have dimmer switches in my room, making variable lighting a challenge. When I stumbled upon these, I knew they were what I needed.While some electronic devices have a lot of WiFi enabled features that can be useful, a lot of them I haven’t made much use of and find gimmicky. But Hue is just so convenient to use with their app.What I love about these that I didn’t know I needed was the automations. The wake up automation is amazing for someone like me who wakes up early in the morning. It is seriously an awesome feature that helps you gently wake up.I’m definitely going to get more of these lights.

    Costly But You Are Buying A Quality Product
    After many years of using LED lights with App controlled settings. I can say that by far this is the best product out in the market. It is easy to set up and can work with any router since it has its own dongle to connect to the lights. In addition I have it connected to apple home kit and can allow for voice activation to turn off, dim, change color light. It is amazing and once again a quality product despite the steep cost. If you are looking for a light bulb that is bright and fun to use this is it.

    App doesn’t work, you’re out of luck
    Hue Bridge is the most frustrating product I’ve ever owned. Half the time it doesn’t work and then you can’t access your lights. DO NOT BUY THIS! You will be so disappointed when you’re stuck in the dark because wifi is down or the app decided it doesn’t want to load.

    Amazon had the best bundle I could find. Still way to expensive but the apple home kit connectivity is worth it.These are a big improvement over others. The glow is bright while delivering soft ambience.I had issues connecting/updating firmware. Only the hue bridge updated its firmware…Wasn’t plug n play. It was a headach actually.I only got it working because I’m tech savvy enough to work out the bugs.Ended up bailing on the phillips hue app all together as it’s flawed and created conflict with apple home kit. – Then scanned every single QR code available to get home kit working. (The small one on the packaging inside the box was the only one that let me connect to home kit. That’s a joke, ya?)just imagine someone buying it without original packaging – they’d be unable to connect or at least have great difficulty.

    The lights themselves are awesome but I was very disappointed that the remote didn’t work due to a dead battery.Update, put in a new battery and still doesn’t function probably. The led cycles through red orange green and will not connect. For a premium product and price am I very frustrated with the quality control. I tried all the various troubleshooting recommendations and it still won’t function properly.
