    Bulb works very well – no need for a special fixture to have motion sensor light
    The lightbulb is very bright and lights up our entrance door very well. Come on and shuts off in a very timely manner- just screws into existing fixture

    Does not work behind glass
    The advertisement for this product is misleading because it does not state that the sensor must be installed without any kind of cover. Even very thin, crystal clear glass placed in front of or around the sensor will keep it from working. For example, the glass on my garage light enclosure is clear and very thin. Behind even this very thin and clear glass the sensor cannot detect motion. If this fact had been stated in the product description, I would not have ordered it. I note that, with no glass in front of the bulb, the sensor works perfectly (5 star). So, if you have an application where the bulb can stand or hang freely with no cover of any kind, it will work great. Otherwise, I don’t recommend it.

    Lights work great in my hallway
    If you want motion detectors for a hallway or staircase you don’t be disappointed with this item. They do not detect my dog or cat, only humans.UPDATE:What I like: I’ve been using these lights over a year and they’re still working.I do love the motion detection in theory, however…What I don’t like:1. I’m 5′ tall. Most of the time, Even waving my arms, they don’t detect me. I have to walk almost to the end of the hall (25ft) before they come on. Since I have one at each end of the hall, one operates each way.2. These bulbs are not smart bulbs, so there’s no way to control how long they stay on. Perhaps tall people won’t experience this inconvenience, but I find it impossible to clean the hallway with these bulbs. I have to turn on the lights on in adjoing rooms to have any light at all.

    Doesn’t work!
    I just installed the new light bulb in today. It worked for 2-3 trial runs, but not even 2 hours later, the bulb would not light up at all!

    I plan to repurchase it. It comes on at dusk and goes off at daylight. And it get brighter when motion is detected. No complaints, it’s been working for many months now.

    Bulbs don’t work like other motion bulbs we’ve used before.
    I bought FEIT bulbs previously that were motion detection, dusk till dawn. They worked perfectly in 3 different light fixtures. These Sengled bulbs don’t work at all in and enclosed fixture. I see their description of 90 degree angle, but it seems like less. So, the bulbs actually work in a fixture where they are exposed, but it seems like you have to be very close to underneath for it to turn on. I won’t buy these bulbs again. I’ll search for the FEIT bulbs to buy in the future.
