I love how easy it was to use and set up, I was debating between these and the smart plugs that alexa originally works with but turns out these are alexa enabled too and more than half the price and double the amount for that price (so technically 4x the value). very easy to use with the app and the alexa app as well once you link it over

Works well! Short screw
I had no issue connecting this to the app that I use for all of my smart devices. I did not use or even look at the app by the company. It worked right away. The schedules have run perfectly on time. My only issue is that the included screw was way too short for me to install this over a wall plate. In fact, it was barely long enough to install this without the plate. It doesn’t feel sturdy, and the socket hole in the wall shows above it. Other people don’t seem to be having this issue, and I don’t know why my experience would be any different, as the wall plate is as standard as it gets, but here we are. I don’t have the energy to go find a screw that fits better, seems like a hassle to me, a person who knows nothing about screws & their sizes, but it’s not safe to leave as-is, so I’ll have to suck it up. That’s my only complaint and reason for dropping a star.

I needed a new smart plug or two and I decided to do the economical and… Smart thing which was to just pick up a couple of these wall plugins.I’ve never used this type of smart plug before so it was a new thing for me. But I have to say from right out of the back edge. It was a good quality feel in my hand and came with a large screw to secure the unit to the wall. That was very simple and took no time at all.Then the real test which is turning it on and seeing how well. It’ll read on your Alexa or Google Home or whatever you may have in the way of an assistant – I suppose with the integration of Matter it’s not going to be very relevant much anymore – and I have to say I was impressed!The Bluetooth signal picked up immediately and my Google Home and read all of the outlets. Everything was up and working in less than 5 minutes and still is working great. It’s so convenient to have the multiple outlets in one place and for me personally I put them in our master bedroom with one on either side of our king size bed which basically splits the room. This way, my husband can utilize smart plugs for his needs and I can for mine and we can basically share for the essentials such as the bedroom, lights and whatnot.All in all the app was very easy to navigate and integrated very well into both Google Home and my Alexa. I have both. I am impressed and I will be looking for these again the next time I’m in the market for smart plugs. In fact, I did already pick up an extra box. I forgot about that because I’m in the process of moving in. My house is total chaos at the moment but I know it’ll come in handy.Long story short – too late – I highly recommend these and am thoroughly impressed with the KMC brand. I am a very happy customer.
