Cannot be added to an NVR – no direct URL only app
The camera itself is probably fine and worthy of 4-5 stars, all functions seem to work. My issue is the description said the camera supports RTSP, one of the direct stream protocols that allow a camera to be used with an NVR recording system.I knocked this to three stars for ‘deception’. I should have downloaded the user manual before buying the camera. Inside the user manual, again the claim it supports RTSP is there, but in fine print it also says that protocol is only supported in the app, there is no direct URL.Huh? The whole point of RTSP and ONVIF is a direct URL. I could care less about what it supposedly supports if all you can use is their app on your phone.If you don’t mind having to use an app, it may be a good camera for you. Without the direct URL support it is no good to me.

I have 3 of these at home and they were easy to install. I check the feeds from my iPhone when away and I’ve encountered no issues with them. I’m not sure why a lot of people here are complaining. For the price, I think they are excellent. I also store the recorded videos when movement was detected (pets) on an SD card which you can download on your phone at any time. The motion detection is super easy to tweak with a grid by unselecting sections. Seriously, don’t hesitate to give them a try!
