    Does not work with Razer Synapse
    I am mostly giving this a 1 star because it was advertised as compatible with Razer, but its not really. As a standalone system it is fine, though I do take issue with how unintuitive it is to get connected to the app. It is very unfortunate this product does not work as advertised because it is quite well built. (TL:DR at bottom)So getting to it, if you’re purchasing this for its “compatability” with Razer I would suggest you don’t. It is a stand-alone system that has no physical connection to the computer so you are required to use its very unenjoyable app. After you finally get it all setup and connected in the app on your phone and allow 3rd party control,(through a surprisingly difficult and invasive process for some colored lights) you then have to download a seperate system on your computer that supposedly will bridge the connection between product software and Razer. Spoiler alert it doesn’t work. There is no troubleshooting available on either platforms its like Todd promised with fallout 76 “it just works.” It also only connects and “works” on the 2.4ghz wireless band, so if you want to run hardlined or 5ghz you’re SOL. So at this point I’m already returning it ;however, for the sake of trying to get this thing to do what it says it can do i pressed on. After begrudgingly removing my ethernet cable and punching into the seperate 2.4ghz band on my router, I was finally able to get Razer to see the manufacturer in the app. Minor excitement ensues, quickly dashed with frustration as I realize the device would not respond to any inputs from the Razer software. After updating Razer and double checking the light bar firmware is up to date I finally got it to staticly work for just a brief moment. Setting all my peripherals to color cycle i could get the light bars to change blue, and that is where it would stay. While the rest of my PC shows off its ability to follow directions and flow through the rainbow, the lightbar was stubbornly blue. Again no inputs or changes from the Razer software made any impact on the very solid blue it was staying. Closing all the programs and restarting, blue. Complete PC shutdown and restart, blue. Deleting and reinstalling softwares, blue. This is where i had enough and called it quits. It was at this moment I took a moment to appreciate how easy it was to setup my rgb G-Skill ram to coordinate in Razer Synapse. Highlighting how Yeelight simply does not care to ensure its products will integrate into 3rd party controllers like they advertise. A quick Google after all the trouble confirmed that its been this way for a while, and will most likely continue.TL:DRRazer will see product under very specific circumstances but even then it still doesn’t work properly. It’s cool standalone if you don’t care about your peripherals syncing, but not worth the headache otherwise.

    They really add to my gaming setup. However, I had trouble connecting it to the Yeelight station app, let alone Alexa. I’ve tried everything and can’t get it to connect. Would’ve been nice to be able to use all the features the app offers. Oh well

    Very nice looking accent lights
    I ordered these to compliment the look of a video studio desk. The lighting effects are so nice I’ve left these on all day everyday for several weeks. They make a nice nightlight yet are still eye catching with the lights on. The many different modes can light up a desk (or table, etc) with white light if you want, else it can be set to whatever color you want, and cycle through them with different movement effects. These aren’t inexpensive, but I’m glad I had the opportunity to order them. I’d compare the value to what I’d want from a good monitor, there’s cheap and then there’s something better than cheap. These are the latter.

    hese LED light bars are very cool and very well made. There is a high level of attention to detail. Even the box was really nice. The box is so nice I feel bad throwing it away!
