Great colors, slightly odd white range.
Colors are fantastic on this, and I find these both more responsive and more vibrant and color accurate than my Hue color bulbs. I’m in the process of transitioning away from Hue and have already bought several more of these.Only bad thing I can say is these bulbs seem incapable of doing 2500-3000k white range. After a certain point tuning white to a warmer tone, the bulb just starts to dim instead of going warmer. Not a big deal, but odd since it is perfectly capable of doing yellow or orange. My guess is the white and color LEDs are entirely separate. Possibly something that could be fixed in the future via firmware updates.Other thing I’d note is I highly recommend using these on a Thread network, and not via standard wifi or bluetooth. I’ve seen a lot of complaints about these, and have not experienced any of these, most likely because I have multiple Thread capable devices that can act as Thread border routers (Nanoleaf shapes, latest Apple TV, and Apple Homepods).

These are truthfully pretty awesomeâ¦
I bought four packs of these so far. In the last several months I have taken my fully built up HomeKit full of VOCOLINC devices including about 20 bulbs, and switched them all to zigbee Sengled.I then switched them all to these bulbs because Sengled zigbee has terrible performance colors and brightness when used in the home app.Honestly. These are great. They are very responsive and have good color and Iâm pretty happy with the brightness as well.Everyone complaining about theseâ¦. I feel like the issue is most likely with their network and HomeKit configs. Conflicting items. Or poor network setup.I will admit I am a systems engineer so my home network is very much optimized like an enterprise network is. But that only means that my network is operating as intended. So I can gladly testify that if your network is fully optimized and you have no conflicts (the average person would have no idea) then these are great devices!Excited for matter later this year! They can shove those stupid angle things though. Never happening at that cost lol

Great when the the app works
I use these with Apple Home, I really like them when the app is working correctly. We use them for changing lighting on a schedule to help keep us on track with morning routine & night time routine. Greatly helps for our ADHD needs, plus with kids, it seems to help to have signals to guide them without mom telling them what to do and nagging them. They know when the red lights turn on at night that it is time to wind down for bed, they know when the lights turn purple in the morning that they are supposed to be ready to get in the car for school. Works well so far, when they workâ¦just sometimes the app doesnât seem to workâ¦which makes it hard since I need reliability.

Better than Phillips Hue
I love the fact these lights do not have to have a bridge for them to integrate with your smart home.Thread technology makes them fast and responsive.Nanoleaf tends to be an expensive brand, but they last and their lights are a reliable, affordable alternative to other smart lights out there.Nanoleafs app allows you to customize the colors and sequence to make these truly unique to where or how you program them. And the colors can be bold and deeper than most other smart lights.I use these for Apple HomeKit and were straightforward to set up.

Terrible smart bulbs
Look else where for smart bulbs, these are terrible. Pairs with HomeKit fine, but constantly losses connection and takes forever to establish said connection. At first I thought it was a network issue but all my other devices work flawlessly while this bulb is always slow to respond when it actually does respond.Lots of other smart bulbs to choose from, skip these.

The best HomeKit devices I own
I had been using Meross bulbs in my home but I had some issues with the ones that were furthest from my router losing connectivity and being uncontrollable until I cut power at the switch and then turned them back on to have them reconnect to the router. This was a daily occurrence. To be fair there are a few walls in-between the router and those particular bulbs so I considered getting a wifi extender or putting in a mesh network set of devices.I decided to first try these bulbs (mostly due to the thread support as I have a couple thread devices between the location of these bulbs and the router. These bulbs have become the only smart devices in my home that NEVER have given me an issue with connectivity. Even when my router started having issues where it rebooted itself a few times a day, these bulbs reconnected and were seen and controllable in HomeKit every time. I wish I could say the same for all my other switches and bulbs.Although these are a bit more expensive than alternatives, they have been well worth it due to the “they just work” factor.
