    Easy to use
    I was given my first geeni plug set as a gift. Was a little hesitant to use them but the app and plugs are super easy to use. I ordered this second set cause I love them so much. They are compatible with Alexa and the app works great to turn on lights for pets when I’m away or a coffee maker that doesn’t have a timer. I love it for my holiday lights. Just set a schedule and forget about them.

    Does what it is supposed to do.
    So I actually have 3 of these gems running fans in the house. I have them set up as a cluster in the app so that when an event triggers then it turns all the fans on at the same time.For example, when the temperature outside hits 75°F it triggers the fans to turn on automatically and when the temp drops below 68°F and it is 11:30PM it will shut them off.The app could use some improvement as the timer function is kind of weird when you use it for more than one device.There are some issues where deciphering the state that is implied with the timers.Using location services is only good for where the devices are located. It will not update the location of where your at so you can’t automate turning devices on/off based on your location (in my experience).The devices them selves are easy to use, however IoT devices do have some security issues that are being addressed but you should be aware that they are not a big deal.Overall, they are a good value, the fact that I can remotely turn devices on and off makes it worth the cost.I am definitely looking into getting more down the road!

    Works well, easy to install.
    Got these for lamps high up on selves that were a nuisance to turn on & off and for another one with the switch on the cord that was behind a piece of furniture. I’m a newby with Smart Plugs but these were super easy both to install and add to both the designated app & Google Home too. Now I can control all the lights with my voice alone or with the app on my phone or tablet which is fantastic.Taking off one star bc every now & again my wifi gets knocked out as probably happens to most people. If this occurs then…um you can’t turn the lights on manually bc the plug is stuck powered off. Not a deal breaker but if your wifi is iffy maybe something to think about.

    Perfect for the tree!
    I set this up in a snap to control my tree with Alexa (like everything else in my living room). It’s perfect! Don’t forget to rename the plug “Tree” after you get it added. Thanks Geeni! (Now I will go look at what else you sell! (That’s just how good your instructions are). Merry Christmas!

    Awesome gadget!
    We have 5 of these now. Schedules are weas to setup to have lights go on an off. We use one for holiday lights on a schedule too awesome…We have had issues with our smart tv, it occasionally need to be rebooted. I added one to, no more moving tv to reach behind and unplug. Sit on the couch open the app and done.

    One works, one doesn’t customer service no help whatsoever
    One worked just fine. The second one didn’t work at all. Never would connect to the network. Customer service was no help whatsoever spent 30 minutes on the phone with them only for them to tell me “oh well send us a video showing that you are actually trying to hook it up and it is not working. Along with proof of purchase, proof of delivery, just too much hassle for a product that just clearly doesn’t work and the company has no plan to fix it in anyway.I do not recommend Geeni products at all!!!

    Easy to install and set up. You can schedule a time to turn on and off, or just press a button on the app in your phone to turn it on, even from hundreds of miles away (I was on vacation in Italy and saw the lamp turn on via my camera). I set some up for my parents too and it’s easy enough for them to use. Great value for money and better than some of the more overpriced brands.

    I’ve used Geeni light bulbs for years and found out they have these plugs. They work very well with both Alexa and Google voice commands as I have both!The app is very easy to use and set up took seconds. The plugs are a little bit large but overall fit with something else plugged in to the same outlet.The price for two of these plugs was good compared to other brands.With the option to be able to turn them off and on via voice commands or through the app, they will save power in my opinion.
