    Excellent basic camera for Frigate
    Bought these to work with Frigate. Simple and straightforward. Had them up and running on minutes as I already had another Amcrest cam running. Great quality and image is also very clear.

    Replaced Reolink System
    I replaced my nvr reolink as I wanted to use a NAS to contribute my systems. These are a better quality and I’m happy with the clarity.I also chose these as the have the internal microSD card option. At for only motion detection it takes a long time to fill that card up.Easy install, but that’s where it has some flaws. Previous cameras required removal of a screw to take it down. These require a tab to be pushed in the correct direction. Push it correctly and it fails right off the mount. That’s poor at best.The app is horrible. Most options need to be set via a direct IP connection. It’s not hard, but it takes a long time. Also, you can’t share your setup via QR code or shall invite. It’s a manual process via the app. That’s also poor.Overall a four star product. Using the NAS surveillance system should eliminate the issues with the app.

    NO POWER CORD WITH CAMERAS
    I have a amcrest camera and love it (use in my swine barn to monitor sows who are birthing).Wanted to add extra cameras so bought this pkg. NO POWER CABLES TO RUN CAMERAS, so now I know why price was inviting. Looks like an extra $20 plus to get 110/adapters . Time and energy spent on something I feel should have been noted in order or added to product.Haven’t tried hooking them up yet, so hope that goes as planned. Low stars due to this

    Great PoE camera
    I have been using a lot of Amcrest PoE cameras and they all working as expected. I pick the Turret over the vandal proof one b/c it captures audio. The set up and install is very simple and easy, Amcrest has it’s own tools to find the camera then you can start to configure it with your own IP, user name password, time, overlays, all settings are simple. I will recommend this camera.
