Perfect fit for Ring Wired Doorbell Pro
I was surprised by some of the reviews here about the fit being offâthis fits perfectly for me. I bought a new Ring Wired Doorbell Pro (the tall skinny model) and it fits into this wedge precisely. It took me a while to realize my doorbell already had a faceplate on it from the factory. You have to remove the doorbell’s faceplate in order to screw the doorbell into this wedge, then put the faceplate back on and install a security screw at the bottom.Overall this wedge works better than Ring’s included one for me. My entry doorbell is on a wall 90 degrees to the right of my actual door, so this angle lets me see a little of the door itself, the whole porch (which is a square), and out onto the street a little. The one that came with the doorbell was too narrow an angle, which gave me too much of a “wall by the door” view.

I installed this wedge after the ring was only facing my front door. Now after installing the wedge I have more view of the front yard and street. Easy to install with the spacers provided. It does not fit into the housing. So you may have to use the spacers to mount it flush. Workes great.

While we would have preferred purchasing an aluminum mount, like the mount we had for our previous Ring camera, there are not many angle mount choices for the Ring Pro 2 camera so we went with this one.So far so good, hoping the plastic has UV protection and if so this mount should easily outlive the life of the camera.

I thought this thing didnât work at first or didnât fit my pro two style ring doorbell. But it does fit. It just Hass to be forced into place once because itâs been 3-D printed and itâs a little snug but once you get it in there itâs a great fit and doesnât allow for water or anything to get in there.

Good quality & perfect fit
It’s sturdy and well built. It fit the Ring Pro 2 perfectly. Most importantly, on the backside the holes are perfectly aligned for installation over electrical junction boxes. I installed it over a single gang j-box covering the j-box with a black wall plate (with a hole for the cable passthrough) and this wedge over that. All holes aligned perfectly. Kind of surprised that Ring didn’t think of making their mounts so that they could fit over j-boxes as well. One that comes with doorbell is only about 4 mm off. It wouldn’t have made any difference for non j-box installs for the hole pattern there is arbitrary anyway.
