    Good Budget Smart Dimmer with Basic Automation, but Limited Dimming Control
    I’ve tried several smart dimmer switches in my home, mostly from Lutron, and I’m always on the lookout for a good budget-friendly option. This switch does a solid job in some areas, but it doesn’t quite meet all my needs. Here’s the breakdown:Installation was straightforward—no instructions needed, as it’s pretty much the same process as other switches. It fit well in the wall box, and once the power was on and the app installed, it paired instantly with my phone. The app is decent but a bit clunky, and I found the automation scheduler somewhat unintuitive. If you’re looking to set up conditional programming (like triggering other switches to turn on when this one is used), you might find it handy, though that’s not what I needed.The major drawback for me is that, while I can automate it to turn on and off, I can’t set an intensity level. I tried to manage this through Alexa as well, but no luck—it’s either on or off. This is disappointing because my ideal setup would have the light come on at sunset, dim at 10:00 PM, brighten at 6 AM, then turn off after sunrise. My Lutron Caseta switches handle this seamlessly, but this app falls short.That said, the design is sleek and looks great on the wall. The touch control is responsive, and when you set a dim level, it holds even after turning the light off, which I appreciated. A minor gripe is that an LED stays lit on the dimmer even when the light is off, which might be an issue if you need total darkness at night.Overall, it’s a solid budget option—less than half the cost of Lutron switches—so if you’re new to smart switches and just want basic on/off automation, it’s a good choice. But for more complex scenes and dimming control, I’d still recommend Lutron Caseta. These switches work well for beginners and are a nice entry-level choice. Four stars.

    Kitchen lights are not responding
    The review below was my original review. It was bad!But I felt an obligation to stress just how bad these really are. They don’t work, and the company takes no responsibility. They simply do no work. Sometimes they go on but not off. Sometimes they go off but not on. Often they just turn off for now reason. They always say “Not responding” even when they do. I wish I could just stand on a building and announce to the world how bad these are. Customer support always says the same thing – try resetting. I have now had them removed and paid an electrician a second time to install my new Kasa switches, which work wonderfully and I recommend highly.Buyer beware – these are pure unadulterated junk!!!========These are the worst Alexa switches I ever bought. They are difficult to program and then they constantly fail to respond. Slightest outage and you have to start all over. Update after a few weeks they started blinking on and off all day. I tried to reset them but now they are completely off line. Pure garbage

    The item description and box both say that it works with Google, however, when you install the app it says it only works with Alexa. Otherwise, it works as intended.

    Easy Setup and Control of lights
    This 3-way smart dimmer is very easy to install and setup to work with Google. It is so simple that anyone should be able to get it installed. It took only 15 minutes from the time I turned off the power until I turned it back on and got the smart dimmer to be completely setup in the app.
