Extender doesnât work well
Iâve always loved ring products, and have had this before. I decided this time to put the alarm base on the lower level of our bi-level house – we previously had it on the upper level. I found this time that our exterior floodlight cameras kept losing connectivity, so I put in the extender on the upper level. Problem continued. Bought a second extender, still happened. I ended up moving the alarm base to the upper level and now our cameras work fine. I do really love Ring, but would love it even more if the extenders worked at all. Just keep in mind that the alarm base should be on the same level as any cameras, interior or exterior. Havenât noticed this problem with the contact sensors.
