High failure rate and Wiz will not meaningfully honor warranty
I ordered about 50 Wiz bulbs to replace all bulbs not on dimmers in my home. Within weeks to months of putting them in, 10 of these particular type of bulb had failed. They just started flickering a strobing, bright white light. This seems like a pretty high failure rate. Many Redditors and Amazon reviewers describe the same issue. Note that the Wiz website does not appear to allow for users to submit reviews of these bulbs. Other Wiz bulb types seem to work just fine in many areas of my home.Most problematically, Wiz will not meaningfully honor its two-year limited warranty. I had to send videos of the bulbs malfunctioning. This was uncomfortable because of the strobing, but OK. Then they said they would only replace 5 out of the 10 bulbs initially. They said that I will need to install the 5 replacements and then let them know that they worked⦠which I expect they will, at least at first, since all 10 defective bulbs worked for several weeks to a few months. But I will also have to send back the 10 defective bulbs. I asked if they will be able to send me a shipping label and/or boxes for this return, but I havenât gotten any response on this yet â itâs obviously not something they were planning to do or offer to me, though. When I asked about a refund, they said a refund is not possible because itâs not their standard operating procedure (despite being an option they could elect under the warranty). When I pressed further, they said itâs unlikely that 10 bulbs would malfunction at the same time. Mind you, these all appear to have the same lot number, and they didnât all malfunction at the same time â it happened one by one over the course of 2+ months. When I pointed that out again, the tech support person ignored my message and gave no response. This isnât meaningful or useful support. The Wiz rep didnât listen, made an assumption that caused them to disbelieve me, refused to back out of their position, and ultimately didnât appear willing to make me whole on reasonable terms.I wish Iâd never spent the money or the time on Wiz bulbs, setup, or half-baked warranty support. Iâll take Wizâs replacements to give me some time to source and install Hue bulbs instead. Everything else will be donated or recycled. Thatâs about all theyâre good for. Buyer beware, beware, beware Wiz.

Stopped Working after 1 month
I originally bought WiZ bulbs from Costco and had no issues for about a year. When I needed more, I stuck with the same brand to avoid using a different app. Unfortunately, problems started within a week. One bulb constantly failed to connect to the app, and the only fix was to remove and reconnect it as a new light every time. Now, after two months, the other two bulbs have completely stopped working. I wouldn’t recommend these lightsâtotal waste of money.

1 out if 3 lights still working ~2 months after purchase
1 out of the 3 lights still work. One of the lights, after a WiFi outage, disconnected and has not been able to reconnect. The other light just flashes like in the video with seemingly no way to fix it. This seems to be a common issue (check other reviews and Reddit before purchasing). If all 3 lights worked I would give it 4/5 stars.Update: the one previously working light now has the same flashing issue. I would not waste your money on these.

Good Tunable Smart Bulbs
This version goes from cool white to daylight to warm white. Get the Wiz V2 app to take advantage of new features.SpaceSense sort of works as a motion detector but requires at least 2 lights in the same location. You can adjust the sensitivity and duration of when the lights are on.Circadian mode adjusts the light color and brightness as the day progresses.

The lights started flashing a cool white color about 45 days after installing them. support services do not have a fix, and they are starting to send me new bulbs. 3 out of 5 installed have gone down in different fixtures, doomed to the blinking. I would not buy these.
