Easy install and fits my Lorex video doorbell
It came with inserts that helped fit my Lorex video doorbell. The housing blocks the nightlight a little but it does have holes that allows it. I will need to modify the housing a little, but not a huge deal. Overall, it works great.

Mounted easily, just need to measure twice and leave room for wires.
Arrived quickly, with good directions. I was done mounting it in minutes. Took me longer to get my cordless drill set up than it took to actually install this holder.A stick-up drilling template would be a benefit. With a cutout center to allow for existing wiring, it would help a lot. I used a narrow pencil to mark the center of the holes in the mounting plate.But on hard surfaces, it was very difficult to see the marks.Also, should include an extra locking screw. Vital to the mount, very hard to find a correct replacement at the hardware store.BUT— it really is a great locking doorbell mount! The swivel function moves securely, locks into place easily. The total case that holds your doorbell in place is solid enough. Sure, a criminal could probably break it apart with enough determination. But that’s the same for any externally mounted security device!I needed the swivel mount to get the video doorbell away from the wall trim. Now it’s positioned for best viewing angle, and a big improvement over the stock piece that came with the doorbell itself.Price was acceptable, it’s a better product than some of the other options.

Cheap looking plastic, inelegant, and too big
Pulling this out of its box, I literally laughed. I’m sorry, but something that mounts your doorbell should display it elegantly. This looks like it was designed a long time ago in the Soviet Union – it serves a purpose, but without panache. I didn’t even give it a second thought when I put it right back in its box in preparation for returning it. From reviews I’ve read, it does do its job well, but my goodness, it just looks really overbearing and distracting, and the cheap plastic doesn’t help. Yes, function is more important than form, but this isn’t an item that’s hiding out in a toolbox, it’s part of the entranceway to your home, and you want something to add nicely to the first impression people get, not detract from it.

Does Not Fit Ring Video Doorbell Wired Model# 5AT3T5
I bought this for the Ring Video Doorbell Wired 5AT3T5. Obviously this does not fit. I took a lot of time looking everywhere for specific models of doorbells this would fit. “measure carefully” does not cut it. I even looked at the reviews but my search was unsuccessful. Until after the fact that I did find the 9/13/223 review rated this a 3 without it fitting correctly. Highly disappointed in the time wasted searching, ordering, reviewing and sending back.Your “excellent service team” may be excellent but you have no way of contacting them that I was able to find. Either on Amazon, the website or the paperwork included in the package.The product looks to be reasonable and what I would have utilized if it would have fit the Ring Doorbell I purchased. Disappointed that I had to waste so much time on something that could have been rectified easily with a proper description/explanation.
