    Easy setup!!
    You obviously have to wire these up yourself, but that’s what I love about them! Awesome bargain. I love that you can program a timer schedule onto the controller (not reliant on network comms once set) … so they’re great for applications where network is sketchy … or my favorite … I use the timer to power cycle my cable modem each night (for performance reasons). Most controllers (plug pucks, etc.) need a network connection to carry out the scheduled tasks. If you use tham to turn off your cable modem, there is no network available to carry out the following “power on” command! Since these store the timer on the controller … the lack of network at the time of execution doesn’t matter! Perfect!👍

    Works great!!
    I have a blink camera system. For some reason, it loses connection with my wifi from time to time. This requires me to reboot the blink camera. With these wifi remote switches, I am able to reboot from anywhere with a wifi connection and camera system is back online.

    cost me $95 for electrician. 06/02/2022 Service $95.00 Service to troubleshoot wifi receiver not working. Check all power connections and conclude with bad receiver and replace as requested 1 X $95.00 Balance due $95.00 Print or save Urso ElectricHave installed 6 2 failed or DOA.     worked fine for 2 months, then stopped responding
    Bought two of these and installed on 2 lamps. They worked perfectly for almost two months and then one suddenly dropped off the network AND the physical pushbutton became unresponsive. The status light just blinks about once a second. A few days after the first one stopped working, the other stopped, with the exact same behavior. To me, it is very suspicious that two of the same products failed almost at the same time after running and being used for the same length of time. I have a variety of other “smart switches” from different vendors, in use on lamps in the house for the same period of time and they are all still functioning as well as they ever did. I suspect a firmware bug. Two switches are junk now and I will have to replace them with some other brand. I have a second pair of these same switches, new in box, but there is no way I will waste time wiring up and configuring them.

    Awesome automation.
    I love these. I added them to my small interior ungrounded extension cords to plug all my Christmas lights in. Now all my decorations come on and turn off automatically.You have to have some basic tools and skillset to use these. You have to cut the cord, strip the ends, insert them correctly and tighten small screws. If you’re not handy don’t buy these.

    The product work great for about a week after that it lost communication I reconfigured, and it loses communication multiple times a day, rendering it useless. I have connected to home internet and a T-Mobile hotspot that I use for my tv. Internet not problem.

    Simple install
    I’ve been using son off devices for quite a while and this Smart switch is very similar. The Smart Life app finds the switch almost immediately, even before clicking the plus mark to add a device. As long as you’re on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network adding is quick. The device setup on Smart Life is very basic. You can configure the device to remember its last setting. There’s a variety of schedules for circulating type times that you can configure in Smart Life. I mostly use Alexa for setting up my schedules so that I can have them all in one place but for this I set up a circulating schedule for my coffee pot at the office. I’ve got this wired into a double boiler and the circulator turns the heater on and off for me during my work day. Connecting wires is not the most robust thing. I would not try to use this to wire into 12 gauge house wiring. It’s better suited for lamp cord. Takes a very small screwdriver and wire size is probably limited to 18 gauge.
