    Excellent for nighttime security
    I purchased these 75 watt daylight hue automatic dusk to dawn bulbs to help keep my home in Flint, MI secure. I’ve had them for about 3 weeks so far and they are working great. The sensor works very well, they come on at night and turn off when the sun comes up. They are very bright, they light up my whole driveway very well. They don’t draw very much power either which is always a plus.I’ve purchased another brand on Amazon in the past (the type that doesn’t have the visible sensor like these do) and they only last about a year. I’ve gone through probably 6 or 7 of those kind by now. Let’s hope these last longer. I’ll update this review if these happen to stop working. Fingers crossed!

    Very bright
    I bought these bulbs as a replacement for the light sensing sockets and regular bulbs I’d been using, which made the whole assembly too tall for my light fixtures. The new bulbs are very bright which is perfect as I’m using them on either side of my garage door. I like that the bulbs have 2 built in sensors rather than one which seems to average out the light hitting the bulb. You don’t have to worry about screwing the light in so that a single sensor isn’t facing the back and not seeing the light. A little weird that these are sold in a 3-pack rather than multiples of 2, but the price is good. Package says the bulbs are good for 25,000 hours. At an average of 8 hrs per night these bulbs should last 8 1/2 years. I’ll update this review in 2032 if I live that long.

    Excellent bulbs!!! I was just about to install more outdoor dusk-to-dawn sensors on my backyard lights when I came across these bulbs. I have outdoor sensors I installed over 20 years ago on the front of my house and I had to modify the vinyl siding to install them, plus the 120v wiring. Thankfully technology is finally catching up with life. No more trying to find a location to install bulky sensors, or buying sensor fixtures.Installed late afternoon and I thought there may be an issue with my outdoor fixtures blocking the sensors as they were on right away, but the next day they operated well. They come on about 1/2 hour before sunset and although I’m not up to see them turn off, they are off during daylight.Some state @ 75w Incandescent equivalent and 1200 Lumens they are too bright but no complaints here. My neighbors appreciate the extra night-time light on their properties. I probably could have gotten away with 100w equivalent bulbs.These 15w LED bulbs light up about 50′ from my fixtures. I have one ground-level in a sunken stairwell (about 4-5′ above ground), and one beside my deck at the top of the stairs (about 13′ above ground).Very pleased with the 5000k Daylight blue light and brightness.They do not interfere with my IR security camerasRecommended for sure.

    Haven’t had an issue since installing. The light sensor could be adjusted as they sometimes take a litlle longer to turn off on foggy overcast days, but that could be the location of one too.
