Great bulb
I bought this to use over my bathroom sink. Loved that I could easily use the dimmer setting in HomeKit. Set up was a breeze! I had no loud buzzing or humming when the light was on. It always worked flawlessly. There was maybe, at most, a one second delay from telling Siri to turn the light on and when it actually turned on. Seriously! I live in a rural area, and my internet speed is only 5mb on a good day, and I had no network delay, even if turning it on from downstairs. My only complaint is that after 27 months it has suddenly stopped working – 3 months after the product warranty expired. :/ Iâve had many smart bulbs and smart outlets and this bulb has been the best thus far in reliability and integration with Apple HomeKit.

Works with Apple Home
Was a little hesitant to by this based on previous reviews that it doesnât work with Apple Home. However, Iâm pleased that it actually DOES work. I set it up today in the hallway leading to my garage and am able to control it via Siri, HomePod, iPhone and iPad. I even added an automation so that it turns on automatically when I get home and shuts itself off after 2 minutes.

Great color, but sometimes slow response.
I’m using these in an Apple HomeKit setup, and all my Sylvania devices respond a bit slower than my Philips lights. I guess this is because of the hubless design. This is a small price to pay for the great value. Colors are very vivid.

Worst smart light! Avoid at all cost despite the price.
Product does not work. Initial order of 2 lights did not work. Contacted SYLVANIA support and they confirmed both lights were faulty. I returned both and received replacement units the next day and both of those failed to operate right out of the box. They just cycled through the colors continuously not allowing them to connect to HomeKit.

Good bulb but poor integration with Apple Homekit
I have 4 of these in my kitchen. My homekit hub (an ipadj is in the next room approximately 20 feet from the most distant bulb. I frequently get a âno responseâ when activating a command to the bulbs and they remain unresponsive. If I bring the ipad into the kitchen the bulbs respond to commands with no problems although there is frequently a lag of up to 10 seconds before a command is executed. So in my case 20 feet is too distant for these bluetooth bulbs to function with homekit reliably.The bulbs are bright enough for my purposes and they have a good range of color adjustment. They were easy to setup with homekit. If they integrated with homekit more reliably I would give them a 5 star rating.

HomeKit compatible!!
Love this product. So inexpensive and works great for HomeKit. I bought three, two worked as they should one didnât I plan to exchange it for, it connects to HomeKit but you canât turn on or off or dim. Still love this product though!

Very Slow Response and Lose Programming Frequently
I have about 30 of these now. I was very impressed to begin with, but no so much now. Overall I have enjoyed them, but if the lights are physically powered off for any length of time beyond a few hours they lose their programming. I have to then delete them from HomeKit and Re-add them back in. Very frustrating. I also don’t like that there is such a delay from an event trigger to actually turning them on. I hope there is a firmware update soon to resolve or some replacement available.

Amazon shipping returned products without matching homekit code.
Amazon originally sent me a returned one that didn’t match the homekit code on the box. After spending quite a bit of time trying to figure out why I couldn’t get it to work I finally realized that Amazon sent a return and it didn’t match up, frustrating as hell! Returned it and got a new one with matching code and it took about 15 seconds to get synched up with homekit. Aside from the frustration that Amazon caused, very happy with my purchase and I’ve now bought several more.
