    UPDATED REVIEW I would consider this the most affordable Ring or Nest alternative
    UPDATE: after about 6 weeks the doorbell is still working great. I’ve only used 31% battery charge IN 6 WEEKS! It is still showing 69% battery remaining, at this rate ai might only need to charge three or four times a year.I purchased this because it wasn’t much more expensive than a wireless doorbell kit. I love it. Now I got the doorbell like I wanted, but also acts a security camera watching my porch and driveway. Best part is that it’s wireless. No doorbell transformer needed. It is very durable and has a security screw and alarm to prevent theft of the device. The chime can run off of batteries or micro USB cable.I would say for under $35 you cannot find a better doorbell. And considering basic wireless doorbell kits cost about $20 it’s worth spending the extra money.However I have a wall next to where the doorbell is installed so the night vision doesn’t pick up properly. I turned the night vision off as my porch light has a dusk till dawn option.The app has tons of features such as motion detection, video recording, video calling, etc.You will love this cheap doorbell I promise.

    I love the fact that it worked well for 2 years but all of a sudden, it has stopped working. It’s not holding the charge. It’s not resetting, not ringing – it JUST STOPPED WORKING‼️

    Awesome Awesome, Awesome… This Video doorbell rocks. It works better than the most expensive ones.Easy setup and install, good app, and very responsive support. Has anti theft screw on the bottom, makes it hard to steal. Video quality is just super. We are very pleased with this purchase. Would recommend over and over..

    Great quality and battery
    I purchased this doorbell camera in Dec 2022 and the battery lasted 2 months with the power it had straight from the box especially given we live in Wisconsin and have had very cold nights. I’m super pleased with its image quality. For an affordable wireless video doorbell, this one is great so far. Rings to our phones, and the theft alarm on the unit itself is super loud when removed. I’m curious to see the lifespan of the fully charged battery. The intercom speaker also has 3 voice changer options which is nice as well. Overall great for the cost and no complaints!

    You get what you pay for
    Installation is pretty easy and functions fine at this price point but the battery life on the camera sucks. It lasted less than 3 months, that too the first time after charging in the summer. Not sure if it will last longer in colder months. Hoped it will last atleast 6 months for each charging since it’s annoying to keep taking it out and re-charging every 3 months or even lesser.

    Decent Video Doorbell
    This video doorbell is pretty decent. I set it up my entry hall for now to see how well it works. Motion activated caught the dogs movement and anytime we walked by. Tested the doorbell and it rang on my phone. I think the only thing that concerns me with this is that you have to remove the doorbell to charge it and it doesn’t seem secure as anyone could remove the devise and tamper with it. This video doorbell would be more suited to an office setting where you have a secure room (cash office) that people need to be admitted to but knocking isn’t always heard.

    Pros:-Fast and reliable (2 or 3 second) notifications to my phone every time.-Wireless chimer takes AA batteries and can be placed anywhere- Records to Micro SD card. No cloud subscription required. App is not intrusive and is easy to use.- Video quality is good. Human detection (if desired) is generally reliable but not perfect.Cons- Viewing recorded events is difficult. You need to scroll in and out on a timeline. They need to improve this and release an app update.- It takes up to 10 seconds to connect to the live stream video. Other doorbells are way faster. Regardless of WiFi / mobile connection
