    Very easy
    I’m no electrician so the physical install was a bit of a challenge, but that’s nothing to do with the product. Once installed it paired very quickly to the bridge and I was able to set up my light to come on at sunset and off at 1am. So far I also have it paired with the exterior extension cord that works with landscape lights and now they all come on at the same time. Plan to add another exterior light and then window candles, so they will all come on and shut off at the same time without having to program multiple timers. Can’t rate longevity, nor do I have it hooked up to Alexa or any other voice activated gizmos to rate that. I’d recommend this system. Not the cheapest, but a few extra bucks for a system that was really no hassle to set up for a non-techy, was worth it.

    Everything you need
    I wish i would have bought the SmartBridge before i spent the money on SmartThings Hub. SmartBridge connects directly to alexa and no need for another HUB. Great reception too, i have one installed in my garage which is 3 walls and about 30 feet away.If you are not familiar with wiring you may need to contact a professional. I have a 1950’s house and was replacing 3 switches, one three way, one regular and one Casata Smart switch. when i took the plate cover off i found they did jumper wires differently back then and found another wire that was powering something (i finally realized it was the hot wire to my lamp post)

    I have casetta switches on my home for 4 years and only want more
    Lutron caseta switches are more expensive than the other switches that have wifi integrated in them. So it may feel that this is overpriced. But when I look at the stability, ease of integration, documentation available, support for 3-way, integration with other systems like Alexa, google home etc, and the ability for 1 connect to work with all the switches in the home, I have only bought more over the years. All i can say is that you will not go wrong with these switches.

    Great for exterior lighting!
    We use this to control 63 exterior led down lights on our house. Nice feature to use geolocation via app to set on/off for sunset/sunrise. It automatically adjusts each day so lights always match the natural lack of lighting. LOVE THIS. Also use it to control exterior Christmas plugs and interior cabinet accent lighting. Using for 5 months straight now.

    Best switch
    I am using smartthings to controls this. I am sure Alexa would be just as easy. This is why I gave 1 star. It is basic wiring to install. Always shut off the breaker before touching electricity. Also gave 1 star for tech support. Didn’t use them as integration to hub is easy.

    Must be ethernet-connected
    Installation was easy once I actually followed the instructions and connected the neutral wire (usually you don’t have to so I skipped it at first but the switch wouldn’t power on).Note that the Bridge can’t use wi-fi, it must be connected to your router via ethernet. My router is pretty far from the two switches, not at all where I would place the bridge if I had the choice. But it still talks to the switches just fine, luckily. If not for the ethernet requirement I would give 5 stars.
