Excellent for high electrical current devices.
I use this for my old dehumidifier which normally runs at 505 watts, but the compressor motor has a very high starting current that causes other smart plugs to trip off, or turn brown around the plug from the heat. I will buy another one of these for my space heater because I trust it. The USB C port is a bonus.

Works as Expected Except Fast Charging Thru USB C -Tips Inside for Connecting to Dual Band Router
This WiFi Smart Plug with a USB-C port is a useful addition to my smart home, but installation required a slight detour due to my router setup. Having experience with another smart plug brand helped, and the included instructions were clear. However, if you have a dual-band router like my Xfinity, where the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands share the same network name, be aware that these smart plugs can only connect to the 2.4 GHz band.The trick? You will need to find a spot in your house far enough away from your router so that your phone connects to the 2.4 GHz signal; the better your router, the farther away you will need to get. Once connected and the smart plug is registered in the app, you can unplug and move the smart plug anywhere in the house without losing the setup and connection to your network. Also, after the initial setup, which requires 2.4 GHz, you can control it through the app even if your phone is connected to the stronger 5 GHz band.The Smart Life app, used with this product, boasts millions of downloads and a 4.7 rating, making it feel more secure than less-used apps with fewer eyes on the code. Integration with Google Home for voice control was seamless in my experience. There are some definite perks to this smart plug compared to my other brand. One of which is the addition of the USB-C port alongside the standard AC plug, offering an additional charging or power option or you can later add on another Smartul module.However, one area this fell short for me was that despite claiming to support fast charging, the USB port did not with my Samsung Galaxy S22, while moving to another USB port with the cord alone it did, eliminating the cord as the source of the fast-charging issue.

These alexa-capable plugs are pretty handy once you get them set up. I use this to control grow lights in my plant room so alexa turns them on when the sun comes up and turns them off when the sun goes down. Very useful

Complex and invasive user interface
I am not able to use this device. The instructions are too complex for me. And I do not want to have to deal with yet again another application owned by a foreign country that collects information about me. And, it appears that in order to use this device with the Amazon Echo (which I wanted to do) you have to buy yet another device. Too much tech to turn on a lamp.
