    Motion detection is very sensitive…..
Night vision is great, ease of use is great, but some controls are not so great. I wish they would update these cameras like the inside cameras. You can label areas of interest with the indoor PTZ. I would really like these cameras a lot if I could do a specific part of the yard.

    PURCHASE EUFY CAMERAS MUCH BETTER
Notifications barley work and this camera system wants your email information to send you notifications w/o a memory card. (or it won’t send notifications) It’s already accessing your wifi information and trying to Bluetooth devices in your home w/o your permission. Beware!!! Also when it’s tapping into your phone w/o you knowing it makes your phone freeze smh another alert for scammers

Great potential but so far falls short
Ok So I bought the Argus 3 (x4) here and reurned them all to Amazon. If you use the magnet stand it was a “HUGE” Security risk. Someone could just remove it if they got cought on camera. Monetary loss and loss of information essentially. I even had a curious cat knock it into the grass. So to fix this they took it out of the box all together. No more magnetic stand option. Because what’s convenient for you is even more convenient to thieves, cats and birds unfortunately. So they corrected this by removing this item. That is not to say that thier screw in stand is much better. It never tightens to the point that it is tightly secure. And again all a thief has to do to remove it is turn the whole camera counter clockwise a quarter turn and it is loose no matter how tight you’ve tired to make it. Then at that point they can continue a few turns without any tools and wallah it’s magically removed! Now honestly this is only a slight improvement over the maget because it takes a few more seconds to remove and cats and birds won’t exactly knock it to the ground. But loosen or knocking things off course completely is more possible. I reinvested in Reolink after I had such a horrible time with the Argus 3 and with blind faith I bought “5” Argus 3 pros hopeing thay “would” improve on those errors and quality issues. To be fair they have on some levels achieved this but falls short of coming full circle. One of the Major problems I was having with the Argus 3 was sound quality from the mic. It was soo horrendous that you could not two way talk with anyone! Things were completely inaudible garbled and chopped up. This time around they did a great job with that. And them removing the magnet stand means they are listening. And that is very good and a major thumbs-up! So please keep listening. The first thing I noticed out of the box is that the speaker volume is considerably lower. But maybe this was done to help the mic and talk issues. This is purely speculation on my part but it makes sense. Most features work but I am having 2 major problems that I hope can be fixed via software patches. You don’t have any WiFi steering capabilities. So you may still be stuck on 2.4ghz and not able to select a 5ghz signal. Connection is dropping way more often on this device than in the previous classed Argus 3 at 2.4ghz. And just like it’s little brother it forces you to lower video quality it calls fluent. So you can never fully take advantage of the visual power that is supported but underutilized. Night vision has some weird issues no matter how much messing with the settings you do. It may be clear at first but it blurs as you see in the pic I provided. And I haven’t even put all the cameras up yet. I’m going to see if they will fix these issues before I consider jumping ship all together. I have given them a second chance I just hope that they are sincere and proactive in listening to its customers and much needed changes. Simply because this has the potential to be a top 3 product. Maybe even topple it’s greatest competitors. I want to see them succeed and I know honestly and sincerity is the key to any really change. This is why as a customer I am being honest open and transparent about these issues in turn hoping that Reolink will be honest and transparent about solutions. And if so this would be great for everyone. We’ll everyone but criminals. Thanks for listening.
